Do you carry a liquor license?

No. We are a dry hire bar, which means we do NOT purchase or provide any alcohol.

Do you provide liability insurance?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Thirsty Pony carries general liability insurance.  A copy of our insurance policy will be  
provided upon request.

Question 3

Are your bartenders licensed and certified?

Accepted Answer

Yes.  All of our bartenders carry a Montana Responsible Alcohol Sales and Service (RASS) 
certification that meets all requirements of the Montana Alcoholic Beverage Control Division. 
(ABCD).  We do NOT serve guests under 21 years of age and we reserve the right to refuse 
service to anyone.

Do you provide non-alcoholic drinks?

Yes. We provide all mixers agreed upon after drink menu is finalized.  This could include soda water, tonic, coke, diet coke, sprite, ginger beer etc.  This does NOT include N/A beer.)

Do you provide citrus and garnishes?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We fresh squeeze all our citrus, including lime, lemon, and grapefruit.  No artificial anything. Ever.  We aim to grow all of our own herbs for garnishes, including thyme, rosemary, and lavender.

Do you provide glassware?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We provide beer pints, stemless wine glasses, rocks glasses, and shot glasses.

Question 7

Do you have a dishwasher on site?

Accepted Answer

Yes.  We have hot running water with a triple compartment sink for washing, rinsing, and sanitizing all glassware and bar tools. (Includes chemicals needed to clean glassware)

Do you have all the necessary bar tools?

Accepted Answer

Yes.  We have shakers, stirrers, jiggers, glass rimmers, and strainers.

Question 9

Do you have a way to keep beer and wine cold throughout the duration of the event?

Accepted Answer

Yes.  We have two coolers for beer, sodas, and ice.  We have a wine fridge to keep your white and sparkling wine cold.

Question 10

Do you have electricity?

Accepted Answer

We have extension cords that we use to plug in our exterior and interior lighting, neon signs, water heater, and wine fridge.  If an outlet is unavailable at the venue, we have a backup generator to power the bar.

Do you provide ice?

Accepted Answer

Yes.  We provide enough ice to keep your beer cold and to shake and serve cocktails for the entirety of the event.

Question 12

Do you have lighting?

Accepted Answer

Yes.  We have exterior and interior rope lighting, as well as our big pink neon sign on top of the trailer.

Question 13

Do you provide any decor?

Accepted Answer

Yes.  We have one chalkboard menu, 3 whiskey barrels that can used as cocktail tables, and a vintage saddle and stand (great for photos with the kids... or adults. We won’t judge.)

Will you travel across Montana?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely.  If the venue is 25 miles or more outside of Bozeman, we charge $2 per mile, both ways.
